Position Summary:

As a Production Equipment Specialist at Panther Ammunition, you will be instrumental in the safe operation of various machines and equipment integral to our manufacturing process. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to specifications will be vital in producing top-tier ammunition.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate production machinery, including priming, loading, packaging, and related equipment, in accordance with established prints and specifications.
  • Ensure the production of the required quantity of components within defined specifications and tolerances.
  • Utilize precision instruments to measure finished components, ensuring adherence to functional, quality, and aesthetic standards.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including the identification and documentation of any errors leading to rejected or discarded items.
  • Inspect machinery prior to use, performing basic adjustments and routine maintenance as necessary.
  • Uphold a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in operating CNC machinery or similar manufacturing equipment.
  • Practical proficiency and understanding of machinery operations within a manufacturing context.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues and enhance processes to improve overall production efficiency.
  • Capability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An associate's degree or completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of related experience is necessary.
  • On-the-job training may substitute for educational requirements.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, utilize tools, and perform repetitive tasks involving frequent bending and stooping.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Visual acuity is essential for reading instructions, operating machinery, and inspecting produced components.

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug test as per regulatory standards.
