Pastry Manager

The Cake Bake Shop is seeking an experienced and talented Pastry Manager to oversee our pastry production. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the production kitchen, ensuring that all baked goods and pastry items meet our high standards of quality. Your expertise in baking, combined with strong leadership abilities, will be essential in maintaining a productive and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of pastry production
  • Enhance staff productivity and performance
  • Provide training on best practices and techniques
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment
  • Maintain effective communication with front-of-house management
  • Assist in managing food and labor budgets
  • Lead shifts and cover additional shifts as needed
  • Offer guidance and support to kitchen staff
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Proficiency in cake decorating and baking techniques
  • Preferred knowledge of French pastry methods
  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities
  • Understanding of food and labor cost management
  • Valid ServeSafe certification
