This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to join the McLane Company team as a Maintenance Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all electro-mechanical systems and facility equipment within the Distribution Center.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Scheduled and Emergency Maintenance Repairs: The Maintenance Team Lead will be responsible for performing scheduled and emergency maintenance repairs on all conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
- Analyze and Troubleshoot Malfunctions: The successful candidate will be required to use PLC and web-based programs to analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot malfunctions.
- Develop System Modifications: The Maintenance Team Lead will be responsible for developing approved system modifications and procuring resources needed for project completion.
- Other DC Maintenance Requirements: The role will involve performing other DC maintenance requirements such as refrigeration systems, plumbing, building lighting, dock doors, air systems, and racking.
- Weld and Fabricate: The successful candidate will be required to weld and fabricate as needed.
- Research and Development: The Maintenance Team Lead will be responsible for researching parts, tools, and technology as required through all available sources.
- Database Management: The successful candidate will be required to become proficient in the use of all aspects of the McLane Maintenance Connection database.
- Supervision and Leadership: The Maintenance Team Lead will be responsible for providing supervision to the Maintenance team when directed by management.
- Technical Degree or Professional Training: The successful candidate will have a related technical degree or other related professional training.
- Industrial Maintenance Experience: The Maintenance Team Lead will have 5 years of professional experience in industrial maintenance.
- Certification and Qualifications: Certification in HVAC and welding is desirable, as is 4+ years of conveyor and automatic sortation maintenance experience.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA Regulations: The Maintenance Team Lead will have working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Computer Skills: The successful candidate will have basic computer skills with experience in a maintenance database such as MP2, DataStream 7i, and Maintenance Connection.
