Job Summary

Central Health is seeking a highly skilled Eligibility and Enrollment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients have access to the healthcare services they need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough interviews with applicants to gather demographic and household information, ensuring accurate eligibility determinations.
  • Enter client data accurately and collect, verify, and scan necessary documents into our eligibility database, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Apply Eligibility Policies and Procedures to determine client eligibility and enroll eligible clients into local and grant programs, as well as assist with state and federal health coverage program applications.
  • Track enrollment and troubleshoot State program applications as assigned.
  • Provide clear and concise information to clients regarding program benefits, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Be available to work some weekend shifts, covering the Eligibility Call Center.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years of related experience required; experience assisting clients with state or federal program applications preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.
