Job Overview

Position Summary: Foundation Communities is seeking dedicated Healthcare Enrollment Specialists to assist local musicians who are part of the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM). This role is essential in facilitating access to affordable healthcare for musicians in Central Austin, providing a meaningful opportunity to support their health needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prompt and precise intake and enrollment support to HAAM members via phone.
  • Provide clear and accurate information regarding Marketplace health insurance and HAAM services (training will be provided).
  • Ensure meticulous data entry and management.
  • Safeguard confidential consumer information.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills, including the ability to navigate multiple applications efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced virtual environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Positive demeanor, enthusiasm, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Aptitude for engaging effectively with diverse individuals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in tax preparation, health insurance, or public assistance programs.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.

Compensation:
$19.00 per hour


Remote Work Requirements:
Healthcare Enrollment Specialists will operate remotely and will receive the necessary equipment to perform their duties (laptop, headset, additional monitor). To work remotely, candidates must have:

  • A dedicated workspace that is quiet and free from distractions.
  • A reliable and secure internet connection (public Wi-Fi is not acceptable).
  • Secure storage for computer equipment and materials.

This position outlines the primary responsibilities and expectations for performance. It may not cover all specific tasks that an employee may be required to perform. Employees are expected to adhere to any other job-related instructions and complete job-related duties as reasonably assigned by their supervisor.
