About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Customer Service Advisor at SSE Enterprise. As a key member of our Commercial and Connections team, you will be the first point of contact for customers wishing to have a new electricity connection, increase the size of their existing connection, install generation, or move the equipment supplying their property.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer support and guidance through the delivery of minor connections, service alterations, and single service diversions.
  • Guiding customers through the connections journey post-acceptance, completing follow-up calls and final calls on completion of work.
  • Managing all inbound calling and assisting with any customer-related queries.
  • Recording all queries and milestones correctly using our reporting tools, ensuring guaranteed standards and service level agreements are met.
  • Ensuring customers are kept informed during each step of the process, while managing their expectations in line with Time To Connect guidelines and ensuring the customer is ready for the work.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support through various channels.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to customers throughout the connections process.
  • Manage and resolve customer queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Meet and exceed service level agreements and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a fast-paced or contact centre environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with a variety of customers.
  • Organized, flexible, and self-motivated with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good computer skills and ability to multitask and think on your feet.
