Our Clinical Nurse Liaisons have this opportunity daily.


They are responsible for educating healthcare professionals about hospice services and offering end-of-life solutions that prioritize clinical excellence, compassion, and dignity during critical times.

Compensation may vary within the provided salary range based on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's location, experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, and departmental equity.

Gentiva offers associates a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package, of which base pay is just one component.

Salary Range –

$94,000 to $119,000

About You:

As a Clinical Nurse Liaison:
You will report directly to the AVP of Business Development.

Our Clinical Nurse Liaisons are integral members of our exceptional team who:
Ensure the intake and referral processes are conducted efficiently and promptly to meet the needs of patients, families, and referral sources
Complete the admissions process for referred patients in emergency situations, as staffing allows, and for inpatient hospice admissions
Provide accurate and timely information regarding hospice services to all inquiries
Respond promptly to calls from referral sources and initiate the necessary paperwork to begin the intake/referral process
Act as a patient advocate in evaluating and developing care plans and obtaining informed consent for hospice services
Engage with various account types – Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), Hospitals, and Physicians
Deliver in-services and educational sessions on the benefits of hospice care

Clinical Nurse Liaison Requirements:

Compassionate Heart:
Empathetic, kind, and understanding towards clients, their patients, and families.
RN license in the state(s) of employment
A minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience preferred in settings such as hospice, home health, clinical liaison, RN liaison, clinical coordination, discharge planning, hospice case management, or RN education
Well-known and respected within the community
