Legal Document Coordinator

About the Position
The North Dakota District Court is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the Case Administrator I position. This role is responsible for receiving and processing legal documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and maintaining official records in civil and criminal actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and review legal documents for errors and omissions
- Route documents to the appropriate destinations
- Maintain official records in civil and criminal actions
- Perform docketing functions in the court's electronic databases using the CM/ECF System software
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of court procedures and legal terminology
Working with the Court
The Case Administrator I position reports to the Deputy-in-Charge and has the potential for promotion to Case Administrator II and III based on merit and performance. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the legal field and want to make a meaningful contribution to the North Dakota District Court.
