Position Overview:
The University of New Mexico is seeking a dedicated and skilled physician for a faculty role within the Urogynecology Division of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This is an open rank, full-time academic position that emphasizes clinical education and research.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will engage in:

  • Clinical teaching and research at various facilities.
  • Training medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical and surgical settings.
  • Participation in the accredited Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship.
  • Development of innovative research initiatives with support from research coordinators.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess:

  • An M.D. or D.O. degree or equivalent.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in New Mexico.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in:

  • Teaching and mentoring in a clinical environment.
  • Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS).
  • Multidisciplinary healthcare settings.
