Peer Support Services Supervisor

Empowering Change Through Leadership
The Team Leader for Peer Support services plays a pivotal role in overseeing a dedicated team that delivers behavioral health support to clients and their families. This position is essential in guiding the recovery journey of individuals, ensuring that they receive the necessary assistance in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a peer support team, ensuring effective service delivery.
- Assist team members in facilitating transitions for individuals moving between treatment programs.
- Maintain a manageable case load while being the primary contact for inquiries and problem resolution.
- Complete all required documentation within specified time frames.
- Provide training and quality assurance to enhance team performance.
- Participate in mandatory meetings and collaborate with other departments.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field, or RN with relevant mental health experience.
- Must meet the qualifications of a Qualified Mental Health Professional as per state regulations.
- Experience in supervising a team within a social service environment is preferred.
- Strong motivational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
- Proficient in crisis intervention techniques to support clients and their families.
- Effective communication skills tailored to the needs of clients and their families.
- Ability to assess and develop plans addressing functional limitations.
- Experience coordinating services from various community resources.
- Competent in using standard office software applications.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency insurance criteria.

Essential Duties:
- Adhere to scheduled work hours, with flexibility for additional hours as needed.
- Utilize data to monitor team performance and compliance with standards.
- Provide constructive feedback to staff through regular meetings and performance reviews.
- Contribute to the management team by offering support and guidance.
- Ensure timely completion of all necessary reports and documentation.
- Implement evidence-based practices in service delivery.
- Identify individuals in crisis and effectively manage their needs.
- Exemplify leadership through self-motivation and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with professional standards.
- Deliver exceptional service to all clients and stakeholders.
- Act as a role model for positive relations within the agency.
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
