Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and career-driven individual to join our team as a Desktop & Depot Support Specialist in Rockford, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for providing workstation software break-fix support, IMAC, image loads, asset recovery, and other client support duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Desktop Support:
    • Provide workstation software break-fix support
    • Perform IMAC – PC install, moves, adds, and changes
    • Image loads
    • Asset recovery
    • Asset tagging
    • Printer support
    • Client center (tech bar) support
    • IT service management updates
    • Other client support duties as needed
  • Depot Support:
    • Manage orderly storage of equipment within the client build center (depot)
    • Perform tasks related to request fulfillment and device refreshes, including picking inventory, image loading, asset tagging, and updating asset tracking information
    • Receive returned equipment, determine if it can be reused or disposed, and perform refurbishment activities as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous working experience in desktop support is desired, but training will be provided for all entry-level new hires
  • Knowledge of PC imaging
  • Experience with change management and incident management
  • Experience with using tools such as ServiceNow, Bomgar, LapLink, and Secure Disk Wiperol

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Dell technician
  • Expertise in inventory control
