The Team Leader for Peer Support services plays a crucial role in overseeing a dedicated team that delivers behavioral health support to clients and their families. This position is essential in facilitating recovery and integrating support into daily life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a peer support team, ensuring effective service delivery.
  • Assist staff in guiding individuals through transitions between various treatment programs.
  • Maintain a manageable case load while serving as the primary contact for queries and problem resolution.
  • Complete necessary documentation within established timeframes.
  • Provide training, quality assurance, and staff supervision, while participating in required meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field, or RN with relevant mental health experience.
  • Must meet the criteria to be a Qualified Mental Health Professional as per state regulations.
  • Experience in supervising a team within a social service environment is preferred.
  • Strong motivational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Proficient in crisis intervention techniques to support clients and their families.
  • Effective communication skills, adaptable to the needs of clients and their families.
  • Ability to assess and develop plans addressing functional limitations.
  • Experience coordinating services from various community resources.
  • Competence in standard computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency insurance standards.
  • Commitment to the mission and vision of Rosecrance.

Essential Duties:

  1. Adhere to scheduled work hours, with flexibility for additional hours and on-call duties.
  2. Utilize data to monitor team performance and compliance with standards.
  3. Provide constructive feedback to staff through meetings and performance reviews.
  4. Collaborate with management to support team and departmental objectives.
  5. Ensure timely completion of monthly and quarterly reports.
  6. Maintain compliance with clinical documentation requirements.
  7. Employ a variety of treatment concepts and evidence-based practices in service delivery.
  8. Identify crises, mitigate their impact, and determine appropriate interventions.
  9. Lead by example, demonstrating self-motivation and problem-solving capabilities.
  10. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.
  11. Deliver exceptional service to all clients consistently.
  12. Serve as a positive representative of the agency.
  13. Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
