As a Culinary Supervisor, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Overseeing the preparation of all food items according to established recipes while ensuring portion control and minimizing waste.
- Monitoring food inventory levels within the culinary department to ensure quality and quantity align with operational needs.
- Ensuring compliance with all company and hotel policies and procedures within the culinary department.
- Engaging in creative menu development and precise food preparation for various dining outlets, including events.
- Staying informed about new culinary products and trends in the market.
- Understanding the preferences and needs of our clientele to tailor menus accordingly.
- Managing weekly work schedules and leave requests effectively.
- Motivating the culinary team and providing constructive feedback on performance.
- Delegating tasks to team members as necessary.
- Ensuring that guests consistently receive an outstanding dining experience that reflects excellent value.
- Addressing and resolving guest inquiries and concerns.
- A culinary degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of four years in the food and beverage industry, including two years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills and a professional demeanor.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Capability to perform under pressure with grace and composure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability and consistent attendance.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Competitive salary starting at $48,000 annually.
