As a Culinary Supervisor, your responsibilities will encompass:
  • Overseeing the preparation of all food items according to established recipes while ensuring portion control and minimizing waste.
  • Monitoring food inventory levels within the culinary department to ensure quality and quantity align with operational needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with all company and hotel policies and procedures within the culinary department.
  • Engaging in creative menu development and precise food preparation for various dining outlets, including events.
  • Staying informed about new culinary products and trends in the market.
  • Understanding the preferences and needs of our clientele to tailor menus accordingly.
  • Managing weekly work schedules and leave requests effectively.
  • Motivating the culinary team and providing constructive feedback on performance.
  • Delegating tasks to team members as necessary.
  • Ensuring that guests consistently receive an outstanding dining experience that reflects excellent value.
  • Addressing and resolving guest inquiries and concerns.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
  • A culinary degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of four years in the food and beverage industry, including two years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Capability to perform under pressure with grace and composure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliability and consistent attendance.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
