Role Summary:
In this pivotal role, you will serve as a key support resource for the Business Management team, facilitating the project management of various client accounts and internal financial tasks. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Business Management, your contributions will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of financial deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial deliverables to meet both internal and client deadlines, ensuring timely communication of task statuses through precise documentation.
- Organize and manage financial documents and materials for internal review and approval.
- Collect and analyze necessary data to support financial reporting.
- Provide regular updates, notes, and reminders to the team regarding project progress.
Additional Duties:
- Collaborate with the finance team to address requests and inquiries.
- Compile comprehensive financial reports for internal teams and clients.
- Facilitate meetings and follow-up discussions.
- Perform ad hoc reporting and various administrative tasks as needed.
- Manage client accruals and purchase orders.
- Oversee client budget reporting and review overall budget allocations.
- Coordinate weekly and bi-weekly budget reconciliation meetings.
- Ensure proper organization of files on both internal and client shared platforms.
- Support Business Management leads in managing client accounts.
- Actively engage in assigned projects with diligence and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with project management principles.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and financial concepts.
- Able to identify various funding types within the agency, including revenue streams and expense categories.
- Knowledge of internal processes for establishing job codes.
- Understanding of media processes and client financial obligations.
- Proficient in Excel, with experience in using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Subtotal, and MATCH/INDEX functions.
