Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Mechanical Systems
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • General Building Maintenance
    • Perform repairs and maintenance on doors, ceilings, floors, and other building components.
    • Respond to trouble calls and requests for assistance from tenants in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance and repair activities.
    • Provide regular reports to management on maintenance and repair activities.
  • Communication and Teamwork

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a building trades curriculum at a recognized technical school desirable.
    • Two to three years of experience in commercial or institutional buildings with complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Possess trade valid licenses as required by local regulatory authorities.
    • Possess a valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building systems.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
