Position Overview: The Key Account Specialist enhances the value of BAPI and the Sales Team by promoting BAPI's HVAC/R Sensors. This role leverages technical expertise, organizational skills, and customer insights to influence clients and tailor solutions to their specific needs, ultimately driving revenue growth. Additionally, the position involves contributing to marketing strategies, market analysis, and the technical evolution of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage in sales activities, identify customer requirements, and effectively apply products by:

  1. Defining market strategies and objectives for products
  2. Gathering and coordinating data and insights from BAPI personnel
  3. Building and maintaining positive, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and promoting suitable BAPI products
  4. Collaborating with both new and existing clients to generate relevant sales forecasts
  5. Conducting market research to identify potential customers
  6. Analyzing customer needs and providing insights to the team
  7. Assessing product marketability based on technical and manufacturing requirements
  8. Following up on sales leads and initiating contact with prospective clients
  9. Documenting all customer interactions in accordance with company procedures
  10. Working closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure they have the necessary information

Deliver impactful sales presentations and close deals professionally by:

  1. Creating and proposing tailored solutions to meet HVAC/R requirements
  2. Utilizing BAPI tools to present to new and existing clients
  3. Staying informed about industry trends and regulations
  4. Conducting regular sales calls to foster relationships and follow up on leads to achieve departmental objectives
  5. Taking decisive actions to finalize contracts and close sales
  6. Meeting established sales targets and revenue expectations
  7. Addressing product and service issues and collaborating with other departments as necessary
  8. Reviewing and confirming all orders before they are processed
  9. Submitting travel plans and reports in a timely manner
  10. Coordinating with Marketing to ensure the availability of necessary materials

Contribute to product development and improvement by:

  1. Evaluating marketability and forecasting sales for new and existing products
  2. Recommending new technical products or modifications
  3. Collecting and analyzing customer feedback and technical information
  4. Collaborating with the BAPI team to identify current and future customer needs
  5. Assessing customer satisfaction with products and services

Maintain industry knowledge through participation in educational workshops, reviewing relevant publications, and establishing professional networks.

Contribute to team success by achieving related results and undertaking special projects as assigned by management.



Education Requirements:

(R) Associate's Degree, Trade or Technical School

(P) Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  3. (R) Minimum of three (3) years of sales experience
