Position Overview: The Key Account Specialist enhances the value of BAPI and the Sales Team by marketing BAPI's HVAC/R Sensors. This role utilizes technical, organizational, and customer insights to influence clients and assist them in integrating our products to meet their requirements, ultimately driving revenue growth. Additionally, the specialist will contribute to marketing initiatives, market strategy, and the technical advancement of our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage in sales activities, assess customer requirements, and effectively apply products by:

  1. Identifying market strategies and objectives for our products.
  2. Collecting and coordinating data and insights from BAPI personnel.
  3. Building and maintaining positive, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their operations, listening to their needs, and promoting suitable BAPI products.
  4. Collaborating with both new and existing clients to formulate relevant sales forecasts.
  5. Conducting research to identify potential customers.
  6. Performing market analysis to understand customer needs and sharing insights with the team.
  7. Assessing product marketability based on customer technical and manufacturing requirements.
  8. Following up on sales inquiries and initiating contact with prospective clients.
  9. Documenting all customer interactions in accordance with established procedures.
  10. Working closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure they have the necessary information.

Deliver sales presentations and finalize deals in a professional manner by:

  1. Developing and proposing solutions tailored to meet customer HVAC/R requirements.
  2. Presenting to both new and existing clients using BAPI resources.
  3. Staying informed about industry trends, activities, and regulatory changes.
  4. Conducting regular sales calls to foster relationships and follow up on leads to achieve departmental goals.
  5. Taking initiative to close sales and finalize agreements.
  6. Meeting established sales targets and revenue objectives.
  7. Addressing product and service issues and collaborating with other departments as necessary.
  8. Reviewing and approving all orders before they are processed for production.
  9. Submitting travel plans and reports in a timely manner.
  10. Coordinating with Marketing to ensure necessary materials and documents are available.

Contribute to the development of new products, modifications of existing offerings, and discontinuation of ineffective products by:

  1. Evaluating product marketability and forecasting sales potential.
  2. Recommending new technical products and suggesting modifications or discontinuations.
  3. Gathering, analyzing, and disseminating customer technical feedback.
  4. Collaborating with the BAPI team to identify current and future customer needs.
  5. Assessing customer satisfaction with our products and services.

Maintain industry knowledge by participating in educational workshops, reviewing relevant publications, and establishing professional networks.

Contribute to team success by achieving related results as needed, including special projects and tasks assigned by supervisors.



Education Requirements:

(R) Associate's Degree or completion of Trade or Technical School

(P) Bachelor's Degree preferred

Preferred fields of study include Electronics, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
