Role Overview: The Key Account Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing BAPI's sales initiatives by leveraging technical expertise, organizational skills, and customer insights to effectively market BAPI's HVAC/R sensors. This position also contributes to marketing strategies, market analysis, and the technical advancement of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage in sales outreach, assess customer requirements, and tailor product applications effectively.
  2. Define market strategies and objectives for product offerings.
  3. Collaborate with BAPI personnel to gather and coordinate essential data and insights.
  4. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by understanding their operations and addressing their needs with suitable BAPI products.
  5. Work with both new and existing clients to formulate accurate sales forecasts.
  6. Conduct market research to identify potential customers and their needs.
  7. Analyze product viability based on customer technical and manufacturing requirements.
  8. Follow up on sales inquiries and proactively reach out to prospective clients.
  9. Document all customer interactions in accordance with established procedures.
  10. Coordinate closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure they have the necessary information.

Sales Presentation and Closing:

  1. Develop and present tailored solutions to meet customer HVAC/R requirements.
  2. Utilize BAPI tools to deliver presentations to both new and existing clients.
  3. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activities.
  4. Conduct regular sales visits to foster relationships and follow up on leads to achieve departmental objectives.
  5. Actively pursue closing sales and finalizing contracts.
  6. Meet established sales targets and revenue expectations.
  7. Address product and service-related issues, involving other departments as necessary.
  8. Review and verify all orders before processing them for production.
  9. Prepare pre-travel plans and post-travel reports, ensuring timely follow-up on action items.
  10. Collaborate with Marketing to ensure the availability of necessary materials and documentation.

Product Development Participation:

  1. Assess product marketability and project future sales.
  2. Propose new technical products and recommend modifications or discontinuations of existing products.
  3. Collect, analyze, and disseminate customer feedback and technical information.
  4. Work with the BAPI team to identify current and future customer needs.
  5. Evaluate customer satisfaction regarding products and services.

Continuous Learning: Maintain industry knowledge through educational workshops, relevant publications, and networking opportunities.

Team Contribution: Support team objectives by achieving related results and participating in special projects as assigned by supervisors.



Educational Qualifications:

(R) Associate's Degree or completion of a Trade or Technical School program.

(P) Bachelor's Degree preferred in Electronics, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Required Training and Skills:

  2. (P) Customer Service/Relations experience.
  3. (P) HVAC/R knowledge.
  4. (P) Electro-Mechanical skills.

Experience Requirements:
