Position Overview: The Key Account Specialist enhances the value of BAPI and the Sales Team by promoting and selling BAPI's HVAC/R Sensors. This role leverages technical expertise, organizational skills, and customer insights to influence clients and assist them in utilizing our products effectively, ultimately driving revenue growth. Additionally, the specialist contributes to marketing strategies, market analysis, and the technical evolution of our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage in sales activities, assess customer requirements, and effectively apply product solutions by:

  1. Defining market strategies and objectives for our products.
  2. Gathering and coordinating data and insights from BAPI personnel.
  3. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients by understanding their operations, listening to their needs, and recommending suitable BAPI products.
  4. Collaborating with both new and existing clients to create accurate sales forecasts.
  5. Conducting market research to identify potential customers.
  6. Evaluating customer needs and providing relevant information to the team.
  7. Assessing product marketability based on technical and manufacturing requirements.
  8. Following up on sales leads and initiating contact with prospective clients.
  9. Documenting all customer interactions as per established protocols.
  10. Working closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure they have the necessary information.

Deliver compelling sales presentations and close deals professionally by:

  1. Developing and proposing tailored solutions to meet HVAC/R requirements.
  2. Utilizing BAPI tools to present to both new and existing clients.
  3. Staying informed about industry trends, activities, and regulatory changes.
  4. Conducting regular sales visits to nurture relationships and follow up on leads to achieve departmental objectives.
  5. Taking decisive actions to finalize contracts and close sales.
  6. Meeting defined sales targets and revenue objectives.
  7. Addressing product and service issues, involving other departments as necessary.
  8. Reviewing and confirming all orders before they are processed for production.
  9. Submitting travel plans and reports promptly and addressing action items in a timely manner.
  10. Collaborating with Marketing to ensure the availability of necessary materials and documentation.

Contribute to the development of new products, modifications of existing offerings, and the discontinuation of ineffective products by:

  1. Assessing product marketability and forecasting sales potential.
  2. Recommending new technical products and modifications or discontinuations.
  3. Collecting, analyzing, and sharing customer feedback and technical information.
  4. Working with the BAPI team to identify current and future customer needs.
  5. Evaluating customer satisfaction with our products and services.

Maintain industry knowledge through participation in educational workshops, reviewing relevant publications, and establishing professional networks.

Contribute to team success by achieving related results as needed, including special projects and tasks assigned by supervisors.



Education Requirements (R/Required, P/Preferred):

(R) Associate's Degree or completion of a Trade or Technical School program.

(P) Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Preferred fields of study include Electronics, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Training, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

Specific Training in this field (R/Required, P/Preferred):

  4. (P) Electro-Mechanical.
  5. (P) Industrial Technology.

  3. (R) Minimum of three (3) years of sales experience.
