Montpelier, Vermont, United States State of Vermont Full time
Position Overview

The State of Vermont's Enterprise Project Management Office is in search of a skilled IT Project Manager to become a vital part of the EPMO5 team, dedicated to facilitating the execution of IT modernization initiatives across various state agencies. The agencies involved include the Agency of Transportation, Department of Public Safety, Agency of Natural Resources, Agency of Commerce and Community Development, and the Department of Liquor and Lottery, among others.

This role, which supports the Department of Public Safety, necessitates the completion of a Criminal History Conviction Declaration. It is important to note that the disclosure of a criminal conviction does not automatically disqualify a candidate from consideration.

To ensure that ADS personnel can provide maximum value to the State, they may be assigned tasks that involve access to sensitive and confidential information, including criminal justice data. Therefore, the selected candidate must successfully complete a fingerprint-supported background check through the Vermont Crime Information Center, in compliance with Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security policy, as a condition of employment. Additionally, certain projects with the Department of Public Safety may require staff to undergo and pass relevant CJIS training.
