BDR is in search of a Lead Data Science Analyst to enhance our expanding team. This role will be performed onsite and requires U.S. Citizenship with an active Top-Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a Lead Data Science Analyst to provide research, development, enhancement, and sustainment support aimed at modernizing defense intelligence collection systems. This includes evaluating, optimizing, and integrating current and future initiatives, identifying critical gaps and requirements, applying innovative methodologies, and advancing enterprise governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive modeling, and statistical evaluations.
  • Utilize scientific methods to transform data into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products to facilitate informed analytic decisions.
  • Proactively gather information from diverse sources and analyze it for deeper insights into the data set. Based on this analysis, develop AI tools to automate specific processes.
  • Design and implement various machine learning-based tools or processes, such as recommendation systems or automated scoring mechanisms.
  • Conduct statistical evaluations, apply data mining techniques, and create high-quality predictive models.
  • Independently manage high-visibility or mission-critical components of a program.
  • Supervise the efforts of junior staff and ensure accountability for all personnel assigned to specific tasks.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Over 10 years of proven experience in architecting solutions based on client needs, with a solid understanding of programming and data engineering principles.
  • Over 10 years of demonstrated experience in data visualization and the use of graphical applications, including Microsoft Office (Power BI) and Tableau.
  • Over 10 years of expertise in major data science programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL.
  • Over 10 years of experience in managing and integrating diverse data sources, leveraging skills in data exploration, engineering, and ETL to develop and deploy solutions for both structured and unstructured data.
  • Over 10 years of experience with large-scale Multi-INT analytics, machine learning, and automated predictive analytics.
Preferred Skills:
  • Over 10 years of experience in an intelligence agency environment.
  • Proficiency in business management to support the implementation of innovative solutions and application of design thinking, disruptive innovation, benchmarking, and other best practices.
  • Experience in performance management, strategic planning, research and analysis, change management, and behavioral science principles.

Additionally, U.S. Citizenship is required. Selected candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation, including criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
