QualificationsMinimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 15+ years in systems engineering, including 5+ years in a senior capacity.
  • Proficient in Linux administration (CentOS, Rocky Linux, Red Hat).
  • Experience with VMware, databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis, MongoDB), and web services/proxies (nginx, socat).
  • Expertise in automation tools, particularly Ansible.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker), monitoring solutions (Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana), and patch management (Satellite, Katello, WSUS, etc.).
  • Experience with Cisco networking.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in complex environments.
  • Ability to produce technical documentation and system diagrams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with FAA NAS.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience with closed network systems and data streaming protocols.
  • Experience with creating, updating, and closing Jira tickets.
