Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering drinking water system improvement projects, including treatment, storage, and distribution. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare calculations, layouts, modeling, estimates, drawings, and specifications under the direction of senior engineers and project managers.
  • Conduct site visits and participate in or lead meetings with clients/contractors.
  • Develop person-hour estimates and budgets with guidance from senior staff.
  • Lead small teams for moderately complex projects.
  • Assist in proposal efforts and development.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to develop entry-level and staff engineers, peers, and others as needed.
Requirements:
  • BSCE or BSChemE degree.
  • Current PE in NH, ME, or ability to test for PE within one year.
  • 4-9 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in two or more of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Hydro-CAD, ArcView, MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ME or MS with drinking water treatment and/or water chemistry coursework.
  • Exposure to public drinking water quality and treatment projects and technologies.
  • Proficiency with distribution system hydraulic modeling.
  • Active participation in drinking water association committee(s).
