Position Overview

The CDO team is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer for a contracting opportunity. This pivotal role will significantly influence the CDO's automation testing strategy.

We are looking for a strong candidate who is self-motivated and possesses the right level of expertise and skills. The ideal individual should be able to effectively communicate with all organizational levels, including senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee overall QA performance by establishing, documenting, and managing testing methodologies.
  • Facilitate the transition from manual to automated testing, while supporting manual testing efforts during this process.
  • Contribute to comprehensive user acceptance testing.
  • Identify and communicate issues, risks, and scope that may impact project execution, providing metrics as necessary.
  • Act as a self-starter, proactively addressing various risks and issues, and collaborate closely with project teams to ensure seamless testing.
  • Update and maintain test cases, managing the scope of testing for deliverables, including IT, UAT, Regression, and System/Smoke testing.
  • Conduct analysis of testing outputs and root cause investigations to provide feedback for system improvements.
  • Engage in automated test development and creation of test data.
  • Thoroughly analyze requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage for all use cases.
  • Provide support for incident testing and address production issues as needed.
Qualifications

Overall, a minimum of 10 years of experience is required, with the following specific experience:

  • Manual Testing: At least 8 years
  • SQL Testing: At least 5 years
  • UI Automation with Selenium WebDriver: At least 5 years
  • API Testing: At least 3 years
