This role involves planning, scheduling, executing, and coordinating engineering tasks at designated manufacturing sites. Managing multiple projects concurrently while adhering to budgetary, timing, and quality constraints is essential.   • Define, manage, and implement installations related to equipment, processes, buildings, and utilities within the integrated supply chain.
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of both technical and managerial aspects of projects, including collaboration with contractors and internal teams.
  • Identify potential technical issues and initiate corrective measures promptly.
  • Maintain regular communication with project clients.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing facilities to address equipment and layout challenges.
  • Assist in drafting engineering project proposals.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings across multiple facilities.
  • Lead ongoing updates to sanitary equipment design in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for production, building, and equipment issues as needed.
  • Assist facilities in developing plans for equipment purchases, upgrades, or capacity enhancements.
  • Engage in meetings to resolve project-related issues and gather feedback for improved execution.
  • Ensure clear communication of engineering and client requirements, understanding the implications of project changes.
  • Willingness to travel based on project needs, approximately 60% of the time.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in CapEx projects, maintenance, equipment/process design, preferably in a food production environment.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors, customers, and team members.

Preferred:

  • Experience with consumer packaged goods (CPG) packaging technology and automation.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, 3A standards, and USDA regulations.
