We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our team in Washington, DC. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in delivering innovative legal solutions to top financial institutions and Fortune Global 500 companies worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Billable Work: Efficiently manage tasks to support billable work and fee collection, meeting a target of 1,725 annually.
  • Document Preparation: Coordinate, organize, and prepare complex legal documents related to litigation under attorney supervision.
  • Database Management: Maintain databases and files, filing documents, and distributing copies to relevant parties.
  • Case File Review: Review and organize case files, compiling documents for court filings, and initiating electronic court filings (ECF).
  • Document Reviews: Conduct electronic document reviews and manage document productions with attorneys, including searches in production databases and other eDiscovery tasks.
  • Deposition Preparation: Assist with deposition preparation and factual research using internal and external resources.
  • Trial Support: Support trial preparation, attend court hearings, and manage logistics and travel arrangements as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to streamline processes and ensure efficient communication.
Required Proficiencies:
  • MS Office Suite: Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Document Management: Experience with document management and comparison tools, transcript management (LiveNote), cite-checking/bluebooking, and online legal research tools (LexisNexis/Westlaw, PACER, CM/ECF).
  • Legal Billing: Familiarity with legal billing processes and timekeeping systems.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Certification: ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience, including litigation.
  • Skills: Experience with trials, arbitrations, or mediations required.
