Service Response Center Representative

As a Service Response Center Representative at BayCare Health System, you will be the first point of contact for Facilities and Security-related information. Your primary responsibility will be to initiate the appropriate response to our caller's needs, creating and dispatching work orders and other assignments via radio communication to Security and/or Facilities. You will be responsible for monitoring various alarm systems, making appropriate overhead announcements, documenting and logging all telephone calls and alarms, and handling Code Red and Panic alarms for the hospitals. This role requires calmness, clarity, and control, especially in emergency situations. You will also be responsible for monitoring Security cameras, badge tap alarms, BAS alarms, and handling Code Red and Panic alarms for the hospitals. This includes contacting 911, announcing the Code Red overhead at the appropriate hospital, whether a real fire or a drill. You must be able to problem-solve, handle multiple calls and emergencies while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Receive and respond to Facilities and Security-related information via telephone, fax, or email.
- Initiate the appropriate response to caller's needs.
- Create and dispatch work orders and other assignments via radio communication to Security and/or Facilities.
- Monitor various alarm systems.
- Make appropriate overhead announcements when needed at the appropriate location.
- Document and log all telephone calls and alarms.
- Monitor Security cameras, badge tap alarms, BAS alarms, and handle Code Red and Panic alarms for the hospitals.
- Contact 911 and announce the Code Red overhead at the appropriate hospital.
- Provide excellent customer service while handling multiple calls and emergencies.
- High School Graduate or Equivalent GED.
- Driver's License - State of Florida.
- Experience in Healthcare, Call Center, Dispatch, Maintenance, or related field.
