Client Relations Agent I

The Client Support Specialist is tasked with managing inquiries from clients and providers through various communication channels including email, fax, phone, or written correspondence, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and state regulations as well as client directives.
This role is remote; however, candidates must reside in or near the designated area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle incoming calls and return missed calls
- Respond to emails from clients, providers, and internal departments
- Review the provider's previous interactions in relevant systems
- Collaborate with Supervisors or other teams to clarify responses to inquiries
- Engage with providers to discuss findings at the appropriate level
- Maintain necessary reports and spreadsheets
- Consistent and punctual attendance is required
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Familiarity with Workers Compensation fee schedules and regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and capability to manage multiple tasks
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of medical terminology and coding
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service within Managed Care and Benefit Administration sectors
COMPENSATION:
CorVel employs a market-driven approach to compensation, and salary ranges may differ based on geographic location. Pay rates are determined by various factors including minimum wage laws, location differentials, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions. Salary ranges are subject to change.
For roles with different levels (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.), new hires may be assigned to a different level based on an assessment during the interview process, considering experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position. The assigned level may influence the salary range, and these details will be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour
