Customer Care Associate I

The Client Support Specialist is tasked with managing inquiries from clients and providers through various communication channels including email, fax, phone, or written correspondence, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and state regulations as well as client directives.
This position is remote; however, candidates must reside in proximity to the designated area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle incoming calls and follow up on returned calls Respond to emails from clients, providers, and internal departments Review prior interactions of the provider in relevant systems Collaborate with Supervisors or other teams to clarify responses to inquiries Engage with providers to discuss findings at the appropriate level Maintain necessary reports and spreadsheets Consistent and punctual attendance is required Perform additional tasks as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Familiarity with Workers Compensation fee schedules and regulations Strong verbal and written communication abilities Excellent organizational skills and capability to manage multiple tasks Attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Understanding of medical terminology and codingEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience in customer service within Managed Care and Benefit Administration sectorsCOMPENSATION:
CorVel employs a market-based strategy for compensation, and salary ranges may differ based on location. Pay rates are determined by factors such as federal, state, and local minimum wage laws, geographic location, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be adjusted at any time.
For roles with levels (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.), new hires may be assigned to a different level based on evaluations during the interview process, considering experience, qualifications, and overall suitability for the position. The level may influence the salary range, and these details will be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour
