The Client Support Specialist is tasked with managing inquiries from clients and providers through various communication channels including email, fax, phone, or written correspondence, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and state regulations as well as client directives.

This position is remote, but candidates must reside in or around the designated area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Respond to incoming phone calls and return missed calls Handle emails from clients, providers, and internal referral offices Review historical data of providers in relevant systems Collaborate with Supervisors or other departments to clarify responses to inquiries Reach out to providers to discuss findings at the appropriate level Maintain necessary reports and spreadsheets Consistent and punctual attendance is required Perform additional tasks as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Understanding of Workers Compensation fee structures and regulations Strong verbal and written communication abilities Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks Attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Familiarity with medical terminology and coding

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent Experience in customer service within Managed Care and Benefit Administration sectors

COMPENSATION:

CorVel adopts a market-based approach to compensation, and salary ranges may differ based on location. Pay rates are determined by considering factors such as federal, state, and local minimum wage laws, geographic location differentials, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions. Salary ranges are subject to change.

For positions with levels (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.), new hires may be assigned to a different level based on an assessment during the interview process, taking into account experience, qualifications, and overall suitability for the role. This level may influence the salary range, and any adjustments will be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour
