Key Responsibilities:- Menu Item Preparation: Prepare and execute menu items to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and motivate a team of cooks, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, receiving and inspecting products, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team, ensuring seamless service and timely food delivery.
- Problem-Solving: Think clearly and resolve problems using good judgment, ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Experience: Prior restaurant or banquet experience relevant to the type of restaurant hired for.
- Cooking Skills: Experienced in classic as well as modern and advanced cooking techniques.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities, ability to motivate employees, and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and work varying shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
$60,000 - $65,000
