Job Summary

The Regional Vice President of Account Management is a leadership position accountable for driving net book growth within the regional and market segment. This role is responsible for direct management of the Account Management team for the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee overall Corporate Synergies Delivery
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and strategic direction
  • Develop and implement Strategic Account Plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Develop and execute Renewal strategies
  • Consult on referrals and client solutions
  • Stay informed on day-to-day servicing, wellness coordination, and client solutions implementation
Competencies and Qualifications
  • Exceptional understanding of insurance products and regulatory matters
  • Exceptional ability to develop multi-year overall benefits strategies
  • Very strong attention to detail, organization, and responsiveness
  • Very strong ability to model financial implications from benefit programs
  • Very strong ability to develop new and creative benefits solutions
  • Very strong negotiation skills with carriers
  • Very strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to form relationships with C-Level clients
  • Ability to up-sell services to existing clients
  • Ability to work well in teams and lead client teams
  • Ability to mentor team members and effectively switch between clients and tasks
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or 10 years of relevant experience with RHU or CLU preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of experience with a health and welfare carrier or broker providing account management services and support to clients of 100 lives or more
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience managing Account Management teams
  • Appropriate Resident Life & Health License
