Key Responsibilities:

As a pivotal member of our Quality Assurance team, reporting directly to the Director of Quality Assurance, your primary role will be to ensure that all products align with customer expectations, company standards, and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  1. Collaborating with the Director of Quality Assurance to develop, implement, and uphold internal testing protocols, including manuals and procedures, while managing product testing for internal, licensor, and customer specifications.
  2. Overseeing the management of Certificates of Compliance for children's products in accordance with CPSIA guidelines, ensuring all documentation is readily available for regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
  3. Coordinating the issuance and maintenance of retailer and licensor Letters of Guarantee, ensuring compliance with all necessary requirements.
  4. Assisting in the formulation and maintenance of product quality standards, directing quality personnel to meet or exceed established benchmarks.
  5. Building and nurturing professional relationships with quality teams and testing laboratories associated with major retailers and licensors.
  6. Conducting visits to international vendor facilities to foster collaborative relationships, reinforce quality expectations, and monitor production processes.
  7. Traveling to domestic distribution centers to train and manage quality control staff, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of quality standards.
  8. Participating in product evaluations for safety and liability assessments, recommending necessary modifications.
  9. Staying informed about updates in product safety compliance and relevant regulations, maintaining thorough documentation.
  10. Monitoring changes in packaging and labeling requirements for target markets, adjusting internal protocols accordingly.
  11. Ensuring timely and accurate quarterly reporting, analyzing results, and implementing appropriate actions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within the textile industry.
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Experience in collaborating with and visiting manufacturing facilities in China.
  • Proficiency in developing statistical quality control methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 20%).
