Position Summary
The Catering Sales Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting management with various administrative duties. This includes, but is not limited to, processing catering orders, data management, and maintaining organized filing systems. The role requires professional and friendly interaction with customers, guests, and team members. As a Suite Administrator, you will assist in coordinating suite orders and ensuring timely delivery of products during events. We seek individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, responsible, and consistently maintain a positive demeanor. Responsibilities may vary based on client needs and business requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers, clients, and staff with a professional demeanor.
  • Perform essential administrative tasks, including answering phone calls and greeting visitors.
  • Respond to inquiries or direct calls appropriately; schedule event meetings; maintain office communications and postings; operate various technologies, systems, and software such as voicemail, copiers, personal computers, MS Office, and catering management software.
  • Complete tasks as assigned by your supervisor on a regular basis.
  • Assist in catering and special events as directed by management.
  • Participate in cross-training as necessary.
  • Fulfill any additional tasks assigned by supervisors or management team members.
  • Exhibit strong professional etiquette and digital proficiency, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate effective problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess prior customer service experience.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Proficiency in working efficiently and effectively under pressure.
