About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team at PharMerica. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with senior living chains and long-term care providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new customers and grow existing business within the senior living and long-term care sectors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement growth initiatives and ensure seamless new business implementation.
  • Maintain and update CRM databases with senior living chain profiling information, competitive data, and strategic planning details.
  • Act as a liaison between the inside sales team and regional client managers to facilitate smooth transitions and start-ups for new senior living chain clients.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing client feedback, identifying areas for growth, and implementing strategies for consistent business development within the senior living sector.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in a direct B2B sales position.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing pipeline forecasting or account management in the senior living or long-term care space.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, CRM proficiency, sales acumen, and a track record of successful client management.
  • Strong presentation skills and basic level skill in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
