Position Summary:

  • Enhance the effectiveness of the human resources department by ensuring accurate documentation, communication, and compliance.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of employee records.
  • Support the company Wellness Program by promoting events in the internal newsletter and submitting wellness tips weekly.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding processes.
  • Monitor required onboarding documentation and follow up to ensure timely submission.
  • Address general inquiries.
  • Assist with the implementation of the Paylocity system.
  • Support updates and changes related to employee benefits and payroll.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the HR Manager and Senior HR Director.

Additional Information:

  • The internship offers a stipend of $1,200.
  • Duration: 12 weeks, aligned with the academic calendar.
  • Hours: Up to 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in human resources management or a related business field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Commitment to social justice principles.
  • Demonstrated values aligned with restorative practices.
  • Willingness to prioritize data collection, analysis, and sharing.

Clearances Required:

  • FBI Criminal History Report.
  • Pennsylvania Police Department Criminal Background Check.
  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
  • TB Test Results.
  • Act 24 - Arrest Conviction Form.
  • Act 168 - Sexual Misconduct Form.
  • National Sex Offender Clearance.

Note: This position is not compensated on an hourly basis.
