Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance and HR Information Systems

  • Research and monitor federal and state regulations to ensure KPFF's policies are compliant, developing thorough HR compliance resources.
  • Oversee annual compliance initiatives, including the Affirmative Action Plan and EEO filings, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
  • Support the HRIS by testing and implementing new features, utilizing data to inform strategic HR decisions.
  • Create tailored reports in the Paycom HRIS and PowerBI to support various HR initiatives.
  • Coordinate salary and benefits surveys, collaborating with various offices as necessary.

Benefits and Leave Management

  • Work alongside the Leaves Specialist to manage KPFF's Leave of Absence programs, providing expert support to both managers and employees.
  • Address benefits inquiries and oversee enrollments in the Paycom HRIS, ensuring employee information is accurate.
  • Assist in the annual Open Enrollment process and contribute to the development of materials that clarify KPFF's benefits offerings.
  • Conduct regular audits of benefit plan deductions.
  • Manage and reconcile monthly and quarterly billing for benefit providers.
  • Build strong relationships with employees and managers to resolve benefits-related queries.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with the Benefits and Payroll teams to ensure compliance and updates to the Paycom HRIS.
  • Encourage teamwork with other internal General & Administrative teams.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance processes, providing training and resources to empower stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in various HR functions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, particularly Paycom, is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for data analysis and communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement effective solutions.
  • Proven track record of completing projects with precision and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to proactively solve problems with a keen eye for detail.
  • Maintain professionalism while handling sensitive information.
  • Adaptable and capable of thriving in both independent and team environments.

Work Environment:

  • Typical duties are performed in an office setting, primarily at a desk or computer.
  • Ability to engage with a computer for extended periods and communicate effectively through various platforms.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 15 lbs may be required.
