Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our expanding Oncology Sales team. This role involves collaborating closely with sales leadership to formulate and execute market strategies aimed at driving business growth within oncology healthcare providers and facilities. The Account Executive will be responsible for promoting our liquid biopsy offerings and establishing strong relationships with healthcare practices, cancer centers, integrated delivery networks, and academic institutions within the designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue strategic business opportunities with major cancer centers and leading oncology practices.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic plans to acquire and retain clients.
  • Maximize contracting opportunities and implement laboratory service agreements.
  • Collaborate with various sales roles to achieve company objectives.
  • Analyze competitive dynamics within assigned accounts and provide insights to leadership.
  • Monitor sales performance to ensure targets are met.
  • Create and manage a detailed business plan for the territory, including budgeting and goal setting.
  • Represent the values and culture of Guardant Health in all interactions.
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in account management within a molecular diagnostics environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience engaging with major cancer centers and oncology practices.
  • Proven track record of revenue generation in a relevant industry.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to address client needs effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly at the executive level.
  • Understanding of the oncology reimbursement landscape.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biology, business, or marketing is preferred.
