About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sous Chef to join our team at O Ya Boston. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and preparation
  • Oversee the kitchen staff and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are met

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
