Executive Culinary Manager

Job Summary
Compass Group, North America is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team in the Boston region. As a member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the culinary services operation, including supervision, preparation, and cooking of various food items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist an onsite Executive Chef with production and execution of culinary operations
- Support cost controls and control expenditures for the account
- Assist with menu creations
- Support kitchen and culinary operations, as directed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary experience in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting
- Some progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training
- Catering experience a plus
- High volume, complex foodservice operations experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
- Outstanding hospitality skills
- ServSafe certified
