Front Desk Supervisor

The Front Desk Supervisor is a key member of the hotel operations team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth guest experience. This role requires a strong understanding of hotel operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing the front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and guest services.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of guest interactions, including complaints and compliments.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information to guests.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills in hotel operations and customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a hotel or related field, with a focus on customer service and front desk operations.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and credit transactions.
The Front Desk Supervisor will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with frequent interactions with guests and colleagues. The role requires standing for long periods, using a computer, and lifting up to 20 pounds. The ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations is essential.
