Job Overview:
As a Field Claims Adjuster specializing in catastrophic property claims, you will play a crucial role in investigating and managing property and casualty claims. Your responsibilities will include determining liability, gathering pertinent information, reviewing coverage details, coordinating appraisals, and facilitating the settlement of claims. This position requires travel up to 75% of the time as necessary.

Compensation:
The compensation range for this position is between $55,000 and $90,000 annually. Please note that the pay rate may vary based on your job level and geographic work location.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough investigations into the origin and cause of claims by engaging with relevant parties, including insured individuals, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, and other professionals.
2. Identify complex issues and seek assistance when necessary, ensuring claims are handled with integrity.
3. Manage both first-party and third-party claims across various policy types and endorsements.
4. Perform on-site inspections as required, assess damages, and negotiate settlements with insured parties, claimants, and legal representatives.
5. Address customer inquiries, make informed decisions, and close files as appropriate.
6. Interpret and apply policy documents, leases, by-laws, declarations, and contracts to assigned losses.
7. Proactively communicate the claims process and status to all parties involved, answering questions or directing them to the appropriate resources.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in delivering customer-focused solutions and support.
- Demonstrated ability to handle first-party and third-party multi-line claims across various operating territories.
- Experience managing moderately complex claims or equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of policies and endorsements related to casualty coverage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the claims handling process.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
- Obtain state-specific property casualty claims licensing as mandated.

Travel Requirements:
This role may involve catastrophe duty requiring travel up to 75%.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to navigate ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and other structures.
- Capability to work in environments with varying temperatures and conditions, including outdoor elements.
- Must be able to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:
This position may involve exposure to hazardous conditions and environments that are noisy, poorly ventilated, or confined.
