About the Role

As a Liability Claims Adjuster at Enterprise Holdings, you will play a critical role in handling claims that result from accidents that take place during the rental process. Our ideal candidate is a career-minded individual with an appetite for knowledge and research, who is able to manage assigned claims from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and Resolve Claims: Gather information to investigate and resolve liability claims, including conducting interviews and taking recorded statements, collecting medical data, police reports, repair estimates, and other related investigative documents.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Attend in-office training a minimum of three days per week to collaborate in person and ensure the best learning experience.
  • Evaluate Property Damage and Bodily Injury Claims: Assist in the evaluation of property damage and determine extent of damages, evaluate non-complex bodily injury claims, and determine extent of injuries and evaluate and determine coverage and liability.
  • Develop Recommendations for Claim Resolution: Learn to interpret claims information and develop recommendations for strategies for claim resolution based on experience and training.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Receive and respond promptly and appropriately to requests from vendors, renters, claimants, attorneys, and internal contacts.
  • Maintain Confidential Records: Maintain and handle confidential records, files, and correspondence, maintaining compliance with established standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Must have obtained a bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of 6 months of work experience. In lieu of work experience, will consider involvement in organizations/clubs, volunteer work/community service, athletics, or military.
  • License: Must obtain required local insurance adjusters license(s), if applicable, within 12 months.
  • Skills: Prior work experience in an office or administrative setting preferred. Previous insurance or claims-related experience a plus.
  • Availability: Must be able to work full-time and have the ability to travel when necessary.
