About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Claims Representative to join our team at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies. As a Claims Representative, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with our independent agents to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations of insurance claims, gathering and analyzing evidence to determine the validity of claims
  • Interview insureds, claimants, and witnesses to gather information and assess the situation
  • Evaluate claim facts and policy coverage to determine the extent of liability
  • Prepare reports of findings and secure settlements with insureds and claimants
  • Use claims-handling software and company resources to adjust losses in a paperless environment
  • Provide superior and professional customer service to our policyholders and agents
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • One or more years of claims handling experience preferred
  • AINS, AIC, or CPCU designations preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Valid driver's license
