Immigration Legal Assistant
Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP, a reputable law firm, is in search of an Immigration Legal Assistant to enhance our team.
This role involves providing essential support to multiple attorneys within the Immigration practice area.
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000, with actual compensation determined by experience and other relevant factors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently organizing and managing documents, files, and emails utilizing various systems.
- Offering comprehensive support to both paralegals and attorneys.
- Preparing and submitting immigration applications to the appropriate governmental bodies.
- Coordinating departmental meetings, processing expense reimbursements, managing client billing, and maintaining calendar schedules.
Qualifications:
- Preferred undergraduate degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal assistant role within the business immigration sector.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, teamwork, leadership, and dependability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to producing high-quality results consistently.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment while ensuring accuracy.
- Experience leveraging technology to address work-related challenges.
- Proactive attitude, enthusiasm for learning, and a positive demeanor.
