The Administrator Role

This is a vital position within our location team, requiring a customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills. As an Administrator, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment through every interaction, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract processing and quality control, ensuring all contracts are valid before entry.
  • Banking duties, including cash receipt entry, deposit slips, credit card transactions, and bank deposits.
  • Cemetery daily processing of IOAs, following company standards and policies.
  • File maintenance and record keeping, updating customer files and scanning documentation as required.
  • Human Resources, coordinating onboarding responsibilities as needed.
  • Accounts Payable, ensuring all bills are paid promptly and processing purchases and invoices through the current system.
  • Accounts Receivable, collecting past and present balance amounts due for delinquent location customer contracts.
  • Deeds and Certificates, providing deeds and certificates to Sales Management each week and logging and processing according to location and state guidelines.
  • Work and Memorial Orders, ordering memorials when paid in full and managing work orders for Park Services.
  • White Board Meetings, participating in daily meetings between Administration, Maintenance, and Sales Department.
  • Reporting, including Trust, state required, and month-end processing.
Requirements

We are seeking an individual with:

  • Multi-Line phone skills and filing skills (alphabetically).
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute with minimal errors and data entry skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills, including word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) applications or Google equivalents.
  • Excellent customer service skills and optimal interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Valid state driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for some locations.
  • High School equivalency and minimum of one-year experience in administration or customer service.
