Role Overview:
At The Learning Experience, our Lead Teachers are more than just instructors; they are champions of joy and learning. They play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of children, their families, and the surrounding community. Our Lead Teachers establish the foundational learning experiences that pave the way for future academic success, guiding both children and fellow educators towards excellence.
Compensation: Hourly rate between $20.00 and $24.00

- Family Communication: Provide regular updates to parents regarding their child's development and achievements through various communication methods.
- Center Collaboration: Work collaboratively with center staff and leadership to achieve retention, enrollment, and engagement objectives.
- Relationship Builder: Foster strong connections with families and colleagues, creating a harmonious environment for learning and play.
- Educational Background: Must comply with state-specific requirements for the position. High School Diploma/GED is required; ECE coursework is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience: Significant experience in a childcare environment with a proven track record in classroom leadership. A genuine passion for early childhood education is essential.
- State Compliance: Must adhere to state-specific regulations for the role.
- Meet state and federal requirements including performance standards, immunizations, and health and safety training.
- Caregiving Skills: Proven ability to identify and mitigate potential risks in a childcare setting, ensuring children's safety and meeting their daily needs.
- Exhibit patience, professionalism, and composure at all times.
- Physical Resilience: Capable of performing physical tasks required for the role, including standing, walking, lifting, and supervising children effectively.
