As a Valued Member of Our Team, You Will:
  • Guide, mentor, and support less experienced educators in your classroom, modeling effective practices and providing constructive feedback.
  • Oversee the overall management of the classroom, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Act as a role model, fostering a growth mindset to inspire young learners and cultivate a passion for education.
  • Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, catering to the unique needs of Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children.
  • Create a secure and supportive atmosphere where children can thrive through play and learning.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents, sharing updates on their children's progress and experiences through various channels.
  • Contribute to the success of your center by collaborating with staff and leadership to meet goals related to enrollment and engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with families and colleagues, fostering a dynamic environment where learning and play coexist harmoniously.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience working with children in early childcare settings.
  • High school diploma or GED (for Assistant Teachers).
  • Proof of current enrollment in an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in Early Childhood Education or a related field (for Infant/Toddler/2s Teacher).
  • NYC Teaching Certification B-2nd (for Certified Preschool Teacher).
  • CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
Applicants must meet any applicable background screening or state licensing requirements for the position.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour
