The Learning Experience - Columbus Circle is seeking an Infant/Toddler Educator to contribute to our mission.

Role Overview:
As an educator at The Learning Experience, you will be more than just a teacher; you will be a beacon of joy and learning. Your role will involve establishing a strong educational foundation for children, guiding both students and fellow educators to ensure a consistent standard of excellence.

Compensation: Hourly $20.00-$24.00

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Classroom Leadership: Design and maintain an engaging, safe environment where children can thrive.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Effectively deliver our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, tailoring your approach to meet the diverse needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
  • Safety First: Ensure a nurturing and secure environment for all children.
  • Family Communication: Keep parents informed about their child's development through regular updates and discussions.
  • Center Collaboration: Work cooperatively with center staff to achieve retention and engagement goals.
  • Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with families and colleagues to create a harmonious learning atmosphere.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Must comply with state-specific guidelines. High School Diploma/GED required; ECE coursework preferred.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Experience: Significant experience in childcare settings with a focus on classroom leadership and a passion for early childhood education.
  • State Compliance: Adhere to state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • Meet all state and federal requirements, including health and safety training.
  • Caregiving Skills:
  • Ability to identify and mitigate potential risks in a childcare environment.
  • Ensure children's basic needs are met, including diapering, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Promote good social skills and effective communication.
  • Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Exhibit patience, professionalism, and composure at all times.
  • Physical Resilience:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in movement and supervision.
  • Maintain alertness and energy to fulfill essential job functions.
