We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team at New York Kids Club. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, dynamic, and supportive learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Classroom Leadership: Lead preschool and enrichment classes, using our unique and creative curriculum to bring learning to life.
- Student Supervision: Ensure each student's health and safety at all times through close supervision and adherence to our daily protocols.
- Parent Engagement: Engage daily with parents and caregivers, sharing your classroom's day-to-day activities and developmental milestones.
- Staff Support: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, and provide support to students with special needs.
- Education: Hold a Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education or a related field, with New York State Early Childhood Initial or Permanent Certification in N-6 or B-2.
- Experience: Have 1-2 years of lead teaching experience in an early childhood classroom or Pre-k, Kindergarten, or grades 1-2.
- Personal Qualities: Be a lifelong learner, with a passion for working with young children and their families.
- Competitive Compensation: $35.23 per hour, based on education and certification status.
